Micropol awarded funding within the SUSTAINET-Advance project under the EUREKA CELTIC-NEXT 2025 program.
Micropol will equip the Swedish research vessel Svea with the smallest expanded beam connectors on the market (the FALCON) delivered with a durable rugged cable with insertion loss less than 1,2 dB. The new ship Svea will be brought into operation in 2019 and it will be able to perform virtually any kind of marine research and environmental monitoring, mainly for SLU (Swedish University of Agricultural Science) and SMHI (Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute).
